Hi, I'm Adventzia and I'll be introducing you to my entry for the Crayta "Dream Vacation" Game Jam Entry. The footage you're seeing here is a collection game I called "Pineapple Party", located on a world full of surprises.
Are you ready to party, enjoy a snack at the sweet buffet, take a deep dive or test your luck at the adrenalin inducing mini jumping puzzles? 

Over the course of 5 days, I have created a world that will instantly teleport you back to the warm beach days during the summer, even if it's getting colder now!
All areas are lovingly detailed, encompassing everything you could possibly want to re-experience from your last summer holiday. Well, I guess minus the sharks. 

But it does not stop at the visuals - after all, I first and foremost intended this game to be fun to play, from 2 to 5 players. 
The goal of the game is to collect as many pineapples as you can in the span of two minutes.

The regular pineapples are worth 1 point, whereas the blue ones are worth 5. Depending on how many players joined in the lobby, the respawn time of pineapples will dynamically adjust to the amount of players, so you can fun with a smaller or a larger group of friends.
If you win the round, a red balloon will be awarded to the first place, and a blue to the second. The more rounds you play and win, the more balloons will be attached to you. Wanna try and see how many you can stack?

There are many viable, different routes that lead to the same point, some of them are hidden passages you can explore.
You have to assess own risk-reward ratio, and either try to be faster than others, by using easy routes that give you less pineapples or routes that require more skill to successfully complete, that also reward you more points. Depending on your unique skills, you can play the map to your advantage.

But, be warned! Other players can snatch away juicy pineapples from you and foil your perfectly planned route, so I have included a one-time use speed boost that accelerate you to thrice the speed you normally have, to either secure your fruity snack, or to snatch pineapples away from others yourself.
Alternatively, you can also use it to complete some of the jumping mini games faster or to access pineapple-heavy regions before your rivals.

Use your boost wisely, you only get one! I placed more of the blue pineapples on places that are harder to access, so the time you spend on a jumping puzzle while others are swiftly collecting points, will still pay off.
